Why should we care about where our food comes from? What is it like to be a farmer? Can I really make soil, veggies, raise eggs, and cook from local ingredients? Can a chore actually be fun!?
Join us on Corona Farm to discover the wonders of a farm in the fall. For two hours or the special five hour half day program we will learn about farming, turn the compost , and help harvest vegetables for the market and for the tasty snack or dish we wil share with our families.
Kids will be driven after school (3:30) in a Jefferson County Community Van to Corona Farm by a certified driver.
Parents will then need to pick the kids up at Quimper Grange on 33rd and Sheridan at 5:30p.m.
